First Sleepover

Last night Mabrie had her first sleepover. Conner is staying the weekend with us while his parents are off on a mini vacation. Last night we did our usual bedtime routine and Mark called to tell Mabrie her bedtime story (since Mark has been out of town he calls every night to tell Mabrie a story, she looks foward to this everynight) and Conner was listening to the story as well. They were giggling as Mark told some silly story about butterflies and Mabrie wanted to know what their names were so Mark named them Mabrie and Conner... as soon as Conner heard his name he started screaming. He did not understand how the weird man on the phone knew his name. After an hour and a half of laying in the room with him he finally went to sleep the poor guy! He woke up about 3 and screamed realizing I wasn't sleeping in there so I laid for a little while and off he went. He is staying one more night so hopefully tonight will be better. Him and Mabrie have been playing all day and having a great time although it looks like a hurricane came through here... what is it about getting 2 kids together that just creates such a mess? It is fun to listen to them play because they do love eachother and Conner is so cute you could just eat him up :) Here are some pictures of them listening to the story before the big scare.
