Oh What a Weekend

Mark did get to come home this weekend and we had such a great time! I went to pick him up late on Friday and my sweet mom came over to stay with the girls since his flight came in after bedtime. I told Mabrie that there would be a surprise for her when she got up in my room but she had no idea what it was. When she crawled in my bed in the morning she was shocked. She just laid there forever and she did not leave his side all weekend, and Allie wanted him to hold her all weekend. Needless to say Mark didn't get a second to himself. Mabrie had been asking Mark to take her to the woods for a walk everyday so as soon as we all got up she was ready to go to the woods. So we went for a walk and just hung out all day. Our ceiling fan had gone out while Mark was gone so we had to go get a new one and Mark put that up for us. Saturday night we went out with Amy and Jesse for dinner and then after we went home Mark had arranged for Ashley to come and sit with the kids after bed and we went for dessert at the fondue place. It was a lot of fun and nice to just have a night out with our friends. Sunday was my 'real' birthday and we just had a little party at moms and i got way too much stuff! Sunday night we put the girls down to bed at mom's since I was going to have to take Mark to the airport so early on monday. So we went out to the cheescake factory and had some much needed time just the two of us. It looks like he will be gone another TWO weeks (entirely too long)! We are counting down the days till we have him home! Here are some pics from the weekend.
